Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and Anthony Christian Yanez ("Reva," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Reva iOS app or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you intend to record rides while operating a motorcycle, you must hold a valid motorcycle license (where required by law) and operate your vehicle lawfully and safely.

3. Apple Sign In

If you sign in using Sign in with Apple, Apple provides us with a stable identifier. We do not receive your Apple email address unless you choose to share it. Your use of Sign in with Apple is also governed by Apple's terms.

4. Description of the Service

Reva provides GPS-based ride tracking, lean angle estimation (primarily for motorcycles), speed and distance statistics, ride details, leaderboards, crew live location sharing, ride sharing, and related social and subscription features. The lean angle tracking feature is designed for motorcycles and can be disabled for car use.

5. Critical Safety Rules — Your Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Operating a motorcycle or any motor vehicle requires your full attention. Do not look at, tap, configure, or interact with the app while riding or driving.
• You are solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety rules in every jurisdiction.
• The lean angle gauge is an estimate based on device sensors and is intended for motorcycles. Accuracy depends on proper mounting and calibration. It is not for safety-critical decisions and must never be relied upon to determine safe riding or driving limits.
• No leaderboard, stat, or achievement is worth risking your life or safety. Reva does not reward or condone reckless riding or driving.
• Start and stop recordings only while safely parked. Never touch your phone while operating a vehicle.
• Use a phone mount, just like with any navigation app.
• Background tracking and battery usage: Trip recording and live sharing use GPS and may significantly drain your device's battery. You are responsible for ensuring your device is sufficiently charged.
• You assume all risk of riding or driving and using the Service. Reva is a tracking tool and does not encourage speeding or dangerous behavior.

6. Account, Credentials, and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for all activity under your account. You agree not to:

• Use the Service while operating a vehicle in an unsafe or unlawful manner.
• Impersonate others or submit false ride data.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service.

7. User Content and License to Us

You retain ownership of your ride data, profile photos, and shared ride cards. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Reva app, logos, and all non-user content are owned by Anthony Christian Yanez and protected by copyright and trademark law. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

9. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. All billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are governed by Apple's terms. We do not process payments directly.

10. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, in-app purchases)
• Supabase (user accounts, ride data, crew data, real-time features)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Firebase (Google) (push notifications)
• MapKit (mapping and routing)

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE LEAN ANGLE GAUGE, GPS DATA, SPEED, OR ANY OTHER FEATURE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK OF USING THE SERVICE WHILE RIDING OR DRIVING.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or from riding or driving. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your ride data, your conduct while riding or driving, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver (U.S. Users)

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration. You and Reva agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing hello@revatrack.app

15. Export Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app.
